AI Adoption Specialist - Australia

Salary range of AU$120,000 - 180,000

Work on the hardest problems in AI – with the best team, the most ambitious clients, and world-leading partners like OpenAI by your side.

Our business is focused on working on the highest impact projects in enterprise AI. That means you will constantly be working on industry-defining solutions and collaborating with our team to solve technical challenges that have never been solved before.

As an Adoption Specialist at Tomoro, your job isn’t to build “AI products”, it’s to help clients and teams build better work with AI.

AI Adoption specialists work at the intersection of workflow design, AI literacy, and the effective use of state-of-the-art general purpose AI tools. Some weeks you’re embedded with a client team, observing how work really happens and redesigning workflows so AI carries the load. Other weeks you’re creating assets and approaches that make the new way of working stick. You need builder instincts, the ability to coach and develop others, and the ability to help people re-design work around the emerging capabilities of AI.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Helping clients move from “how work happens” to “how it should happen”: explore the reality of everyday work, map it, redesign it towards becoming “AI-native”.
  • Utilising what’s available: help people to use ChatGPT (and other best-in-class solutions) as a starting point, then improving their ability to use the AI they have access to effectively everyday.
  • Building useful assets teams can apply: prompts, custom instructions, skills and mechanisms for teams to evaluate LLM outputs and AI tools.
  • Lightweight builds: use tools like Claude Code, Codex, and MCP to create quick automations or integrations.
  • Articulating the boundaries: helping clients and teams to know when off-the-shelf is enough vs when it’s time to build custom AI solutions for deeper integration, uniqueness, or scale.
  • Coaching teams towards AI-native behaviour: move people from “I should use AI” to “AI is my default step”, by working and building alongside them.
  • Winning over the sceptics (and the overwhelmed): build trust through clarity, usefulness, and outcomes people can feel.
